Direct, On the Roll, Compaction and Shear Stress Measurements.
The RRDI Instrumented Roll provides the most important measured parameter in Roller Compaction Development, the Stress Of Compaction.
RRDI's Instrumented Roll can be made to fit most modern roller compactors. With both lab and production scale rolls available, the RRDI instrumented roll allows scale-up by compaction stress. (See the link to the first technical paper listed below).
High resolution Roll Angle measurements are also included and a laptop data acquisition system is also available. The RRDI instrumented roll also provides a robust feature set of analytics, using multiple stress sensors across the face of the roll. The RRDI instrumented roll will provide direct measurement of actual ribbon stresses at the roll, as well as define compaction stress uniformity within the ribbon.
